Forget New Year's. Make a Christmas Resolution.

I have to confess something. There are two household chores that I struggle with. Dishes and laundry.

I have a tendency to let the dirty dishes pile up before I finally get to them. I also tend to let the clean laundry sit in baskets in the living room for days before I finally fold them and put them away. Usually when I need the laundry basket to wash another load is when I finally take care of the clean laundry.

I know this is crazy. I'm that person whose house is very clean 95% of the time. But yet, there are always dirty pots and pans waiting to get washed. I know that it would be better if I just washed them every day. I feel so much better when my kitchen is clean.

I don't normally do New Year's resolutions. I still won't. So instead, I will do a Christmas resolution. :) From now through Christmas, I will do the dishes every day and will fold the laundry the day it is done or no later than the next day.

Hopefully if I can do it for three weeks, I can keep it up. Really, it is two small changes. I should be able to do it.

What about you? Have anything you need to change and make a habit in your house? I challenge you to use the next three weeks to change one or two small things that you have been wanting and needing to change. Comment and let me know how it is going!
